Dallas Police Make Arrest In Connection With 13-Year-Old's Murder

DALLAS (KRLD) - UPDATED 6 P.M.: Police have arrested 21-year-old Datrail Clayton and charged him with murder. Police expect more arrests to be made.

Dallas police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a 13-year-old.

13-year-old Malik Tyler was hit by a stray bullet outside a gas station in the 9400 block of Bruton Road Tuesday night. He later died at a hospital. 

Police say he and two friends had just left a convenience store in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas when he was struck. 

Chief Renee Hall says the group was walking outside the store when a passing car opened fire on a different car.
