Dallas Police Issue Warrants In Shooting Death Of Guyger Witness Joshua Brown

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) The Dallas Police Department announced they have made one arrest and are seeking two other suspects in the shooting death of Guyger trial witness Joshua Brown.

Dallas Police say warrants have been issued for 3 suspects, including 20-year-old Jacquerious Mitchell, 22-year-old Thaddeous Charles Green, and 32-year-old Michael Diaz Mitchell, in connection with death of Joshua Brown over what police are calling a drug-deal gone wrong.

All suspects had travelled from Alexandria, LA to purchase drugs from Joshua Brown.

The suspects met Brown near Cedar Springs and the Dallas North Tollway, Friday to purchase drugs.

During the exchange a fight ensued. Brown shot one suspect, before he was hit and killed by return fire.

Jacquerious Mitchell was driven to the hospital after the fight. He is now in police custody.

Police searched Brown’s apartment and confiscated 12 lbs. of marijuana, 149 grams of THC cartridges and $4,157 in cash.

Joshua Brown lived across the hall from Botham Jean. He testified that he heard gunshots and then saw former Dallas Polcie Officer Amber Guyger crying in the hallway and talking on her phone.
