DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - With fear over coronavirus spreading, Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Doctor Phillip Huang is trying to explain what's going on.
Doctor Huang was part of an on-line panel discussion live-streamed by the Perot Museum yesterday.
Huang noted the stringent rules on limiting social gatherings put in place last week and said they have two primary purposes.
One is to protect the most vulnerable including the elderly and those with chronic illnesses. The second is to prevent the health care system from being overwhelmed.
Dr. Huang also says Dallas County now totals 14 cases of coronavirus.
