GALVESTON (1080 KRLD)- The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network in Galveston has rescued a baby dolphin.
Someone found the 8 to 12 week old sunburned baby dolphin named 'Trooper" close to Holly Beach, Louisiana.
Dr. Richard Henderson helped save Trooper's life.
Dr. Henderson says, "There's a group of volunteers and they sign up for shifts. All day long they sit in a big chair right beside the pool.
They monitor his respiration and his swimming pattern.
He's being fed every three hours."
He says when Trooper is stable they will perform a CT scan on him.
