MESQUITE (1080 KRLD)- Police in Mesquite reporting a horrific crime, a double murder suicide, involving a family.
Early Thursday morning police say they got a call from a woman claiming her husband had a gun. She says when she ran out of the house she heard gunshots.
Upon entry, police found three people shot. One woman was still alive. However she was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
After an investigation it was determined that 32 year old Marcus Vasquez had shot his 55 year old mother Ronda Vasquez and and his 29 year old sister Rayshell Vasquez, before turning the gun on himself.
No motive for the shooting has been determined.
