DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The mother of the 18-year-old shot and killed at a Dallas high school basketball game is expected to announce a lawsuit against the school district.
Marc Strickland died Saturday after he was shot on January 9th during a high school basketball game at Ellis Davis Field House.
Strickland's mother, Dewana Mitchell, hired attorney Justin Moore to pursue legal action against the Dallas ISD.
Moore will hold a news conference later this morning to discuss details of the lawsuit.
The 15-year-old suspected of shooting Strickland is now faing a murder charge.
