DALLAS (KRLD) - Former Fort Worth Police Chief Joel Fitzgerald has a court hearing today as he continues to fight his May firing.
At today's hearing, Fitzgerald's lawyers are seeking an injunction to keep the city from hiring a permanent police chief until Fitzgerald's lawsuit has run its course.
A temporary restraining order issued in June expires on Tuesday.
Ed Kraus has been serving as interim police chief since Fitzgerald's firing six months ago.
