A Fort Worth tax preparer has been closed down by the feds.
Officials say Siza Mhlanga and his Tax Refund Express business dummied up deductions to increase his clients' tax refunds.
Federal court documents suggest Mhlanga reported bogus deductions for charitable contributions, energy credits, business losses and in at least one case, created a fictitious business on which he reported a $21,000 loss to the IRS.
Prosecutors say in just two tax years he filed hundreds of fraudulent returns.
