FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - The teen curfew in Fort Worth has been extended for three more years.

The Fort Worth city council agreed to the extension last night.

The Fort Worth police department supports the curfew, but some community activists believe it goes to far.

The council heard strongly-worded comments on both sides before taking the vote.

Under the curfew, anyone under age 17 must be off the streets by 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday nights. Friday's and Saturdays it's midnight.
