A Grand Prairie police officer is hospitalized after crashing his motorcycle during a chase.
Officials say the incident happened just after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday when the officer tried to pull over a reckless driver along South Beltline Road.
Police say the suspect took off during the stop and a chase started, but the officer lost traction causing him to skid and crash.
The officer has minor injures but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The suspect drove off and police will review the officer's body cam footage to try and identify him.
