GREENVILLE (1080 KRLD) - The former Greenville man wrongly accused in a deadly dance hall shooting is now planning a lawsuit.
Last month, Brandon Gonzales was arrested and held for more than a week until Hunt County investigators decided they had no reason to keep him locked up any longer.
Hoping to get away from the notoriety of having his name plastered all over the Internet and the air waves - Gonzales moved to Florida where he is still too well known.
He tells NBC-5 he's had no luck getting a job because prospective employers shy away when his arrest comes up on internet searches.
His lawyer says they plan to sue the Hunt County Sheriff's Office.
Since Gonzales was released, investigators have had no luck finding the gunman who killed two and wounded a nearly a dozen others at a dance venue last month.
