Based on two federal lawsuits filed Monday against ADT, more than 200 North Texas families were spied on in their homes by an employee who hacked into their security cameras.
Court documents suggest that, last month, a Dallas-area customer discovered the hack.
ADT found its employee had access to hundreds of customer accounts and had been spying on people in their homes for seven years.
The Florida-based company claims the worker has already been fired.
