Doncic is one of the ten starters who will compete in the 69th NBA All-Star Game taking place in Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Fan voting accounted for 50 percent of the vote, while the players and a panel of media members make up the other half of the vote at 25 percent each.

The 20-year-old Slovenian has taken the league by storm in his second year in the NBA, averaging over 29 points, nearly 10 rebounds and nine assists per game.

Joining Doncic from the Western Conference will be Los Angeles Lakers forwards LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard.

Doncic narrowly missed out on being one of the two captains, losing out to James. Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is the other captain which was determined by the fan vote.

Joining Antetokounmpo from the Eastern Conference will be Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.

The reserves for the game will be announced on Jan 30 at 6 p.m. on TNT, and James and Antetokounmpo will select their teams on Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. on TNT.
