
DALLAS (KRLD) - Dallas police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting at the Greenville vigil on Sunday.
The vigil was being held for one of the victims at St. Augustine Park in Pleasant Grove when an altercation ensued. It led to shots being fired.
Police say no one was hurt, but several vehicles were damaged.
Witnesses told police the shooter fled in a black Toyota Corolla. When police caught up with the car it attempted to speed off, but the chase ended a short time later.
21-year-old Patrick Lovely was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest & Detention with a Vehicle, outstanding Alias warrants out of Dallas, and Unlawful Carrying Weapon.
Police have not determined if he fired the shots at the vigil.
