A man is now locked up in Dallas, ending a reported hostage standoff that began about 1 a.m.
Police -- and eventually the SWAT team -- were sent to a building on Exposition Avenue just north of Fair Park.
Police have not said what started it all but it ended about 3 a.m. when the armed man gave it up with no one getting hurt.
Police were first told there may have been one or more hostages in the building but afterward there was some doubt about that.
