FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A man's in the hospital after getting shot trying to climb through a drive-through window on East Rosedale in Fort Worth this morning.
Just after 2:00 a.m. a clerk called 911 to say a man was trying to force his way into a convenience store that was locked up, except for the drive-through window.
Fearing for his safety, the employee opened fire - striking the intruder in the side.
The suspect was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Detectives remained on the scene for the rest of the morning interviewing the clerk and gathering evidence.
