CLEBURNE (1080 KRLD) - With two confirmed cases of Coronavirus now in Cleburne, Mayor Scott Cain has some pretty stern words for people who are hanging out in grocery stores.
In a Facebook video posted yesterday, Cain has a message, saying "to those who don't want to follow the rules, there are consequences. Most of the community is doing their part. I will not allow a few to ignore safety and put our community at risk. Please take these orders seriously and let's all do our part to get through this."
Cain is also asking families to send just one person at a time to the grocery stores. He believes there are two many people in the supermarkets and that they are socializing too close for comfort during these days of social distancing.
He's also asking the grocery stores to sanitize the carts after each use to minimize the spread of the virus.
