McDonald's is taking applications, wanting to hire about 1,800 people in Dallas-Fort Worth.
It's part of a larger effort to hire 23,000 workers across Texas and 260,000 nation-wide this summer.
The 1,800 positions to be filled in North Texas are spread over 300 McDonald's restaurants in the region.
