MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD) - McKinney residents seeking the recall of a controversial city councilman have received approval for their effort to get enough petition signatures.
Opponents believe La'Shadion Shemwell has violated his oath of office. They now have 45 days to collect more than 2,000 signatures.
If the meet the deadline, the recall would be on the ballot in May.
