DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Its a big day for some businesses in Texas as more of them are allowed to reopen today, including hair salons.
Many salons across Texas have been working for days getting ready for today's reopening.
Once the governor made the announcement that salons could reopen, one immediately went to work. Stylist Melissa Renee says she's been going no-stop since Tuesday. Renee says her phone has been ringing non-stop since word came down they could reopen.
But some stylists say while they could open today they are choosing to wait, to make sure they are completely prepared for customers.
All said they are ready to start making money again.
