The cause of yesterday's massive mulch fire in Kaufman County may not be known for awhile.
The fire broke out Sunday morning in the unincorporated community of Poetry about halfway between Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Tawakoni, according to reports.
Scores of firefighters from numerous departments contributed to fighting the fire which raged all day and all night and into the early morning hours today.
As reported by inforney-dot-com the fire was burning through a mulch pile about 20 feet deep and covering at least an acre -- and maybe more.
