National Weather Service Confirms EF1 Tornado In Rowlett

ROWLETT (1080 KRLD) - National Weather Service teams are have been out surveying damage from last night's storms.

On Monday afternoon, National Weather Service teams confirmed an EF-1 tornado struck down in Rowlett with maximum winds of 100 mph.

Crews have also determined damage along CR 3849 north of Wills Point in Van Zandt County was caused by an EF0 tornado with estimated winds of 80 mph.  

The National Weather Service says it will provide more details later, including information about the Tornado that tore thru Dallas.
