DALLAS (KRLD)  - A new study show more than half of us lost sleep over money.

The study by Bankrate.com indicates the biggest worry is over everyday expenses. Researchers say we also lose sleep worrying about saving money for retirement and that we worrying about health care, insurance or the ability to pay off credit card debt.

Ted Rossman with Bankrate.com says, "people also worry about relationships, politics, climate change and raising children." But, he says nearly two-thirds of Americans trying to get a good night's rest are optimistic they will be able to fix their biggest issue.

"When you're wrestling with a big issue, it's important to break it into manageable chunks. Devising a plan and starting to execute against it - piece by piece - is the best way to get things done," Rossman says.

"Simply getting started should help you begin to feel better and settle your racing mind. That holds true whether you're worried about health, money, relationships, work or anything else."
