North Texas house sales in May were dismal as the region reeled from the Coronavirus outbreak that kept most potential home-buyers on the sidelines.

Information released by Texas A&M and the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems shows May sales were down fully 25%, the worst performance in more than a decade since the housing crisis that began 2007 and worsened in 2008.

In May, townhome and condo sales fared even worse, down 40%.
