One Injured In Shooting At Galleria Dallas
One person was hurt when someone opened fire inside the Galleria Dallas mall Tuesday evening. Witnesses describe hearing several shots near the Nordstrom's.
"I heard people arguing, and then I thought maybe something had fell...but then after you heard multiple gunshots, you knew what that was," one shopper told KRLD's Austin York.
The mall was evacuated after the shooting. The victim was taken by Dallas Fire-Rescue to Parkland Hospital. Police have not released details on that person's condition.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance camera video from the mall and searching for the suspect. Police are not qualifying the incident as an "active shooter". The incident happened at around 6:45pm, just before the mall was scheduled to close at 7:00pm.
