A driver is locked up after smashing his car into a utility pole in Fort Worth this morning.
A few minutes after 2 a.m. the car veered into the pole on South Main Street right outside JPS Hospital.
A passenger was trapped and had to be pried out of the wreckage.
She was checked out in the ER.
The driver was arrested on DWI charges.
