GRAND PRAIRIE (KRLD) - Police have confirmed that a body found last week in Mountain Creek Lake is of the missing mother of two, Weltzin Garcia.
Dive teams had been searching White Rock Lake for Garcia, 26, who'd been missing since February 5.
Dallas police and Texas Game Wardens have already located the body of her estranged boyfriend, Alfonso Hernandez, 28, in White Rock Lake.
Before the two disappeared, Grand Prairie police issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez. Grand Prairie police say the warrant stemmed from a domestic assault case in January.
The couples two children, 3 and 6, were released to the Garcia family after initially being placed in foster care after the parents disappeared.
