DALLAS (KRLD) - Police are searching for the suspect in a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Oak Cliff.
Police say they found an adult man lying on the sidewalk at the Hampton Terrace Apartments along South Hampton Road. He had been shot and was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
SWAT was called in to check the apartment where the victim lived or frequented. No one was inside.
One woman who has lived at the complex for nearly two years says crime has gotten worse.
"Someone got robbed nearby just recently. Now, this. I don't understand it. What is it? I'm at a loss," she says.
Anyone with information about the suspected shooter is asked to call 911.
