DALLAS (KRLD) - If police officers see a colleague doing something wrong, they need to speak up.
That's the message from Houston Police Officers' Union President Joe Gamaldi. Gamaldi, who is also a national vice president of the Fraternal Order of Police, said the number of internal complaints filed by officers about one another in the Houston P.D. is three times the rate of those filed against officers from outside the department.
Gamaldi said those figures should do away with the "myth" that there is a "blue wall of silence" in law enforcement.
