West Texas Republicans are looking forward to a visit from President Trump today.
The election is just over three months away and the President is ratcheting up the tempo of his campaign and fundraising.
Today, he'll be in friendly Ector County which gave Mr Trump nearly 69% of its vote four years ago.
Today, Air Force One is due at the airport in Midland around 11:30 a.m. and then it's a quick 12-mile drive to downtown Odessa for a luncheon at the Marriott Hotel.
After lunch, the presidential motorcade travels to Midland where Mr. Trump visits a Double Eagle Energy rig where he's due to make a few remarks.
By mid-afternoon, the traveling party goes wheels up for the return trip to DC.
