DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Texas Rangers have unveiled the schedule for the inaugural season at Globe Life Field.
The club will open the 2020 campaign on the road against the Seattle Mariners and will return home for their first regular-season game at the new roof-enclosed stadium on March 31 against the Los Angeles Angels.
Texas will finish the year at home against the Oakland A's and Seattle.
Among the notable series on the schedule includes the pairing with the National League East division. The Atlanta Braves (June 29-July 1), Washington Nationals (May 26-28), and Philadelphia Phillies (August 11-12) will all come to the new park next year.
Surprisingly, the Nationals will be making their first trip to Arlington since moving the franchise from Montreal to Washington D.C. in 2005. The two clubs have met four times with all four series being played in the Nation's Capital.
Unlike this season when the New York Yankees face the Rangers in the final home series at Globe Life Field, New York will visit the club's new digs in April (13-15).
