ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - Now that the Texas Rangers are moving out of Globe Life Park for their new home across the street, the city may have a new tenant lined up.
As reported by our news partners NBC-5, Six Flags wants to move its world headquarters from Grand Prairie to the Globe Life which is just a block away from its original amusement park.
Tonight, the Arlington City Council will vote on a package of incentives to assist Six Flags in making the move.
If all goes according to plan, Six Flags would sign a 15-year lease with options for two five-year extensions.
