FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - This Sunday could see the first in-person church services for many Christians since the middle of March. But other churches are still not ready to throw open the doors.
The Governor's guidance is giving churches the option of of holding services in their sanctuaries again.
But mega-church pastor Robert Morris says his Gateway church in Grapevine will still be online only for the time being.
By the same token, more than six dozen faith leaders have signed an open letter to Governor Abbott urging a go-slow approach to restoring in-person worship.
On the other hand, Fort Worth Diocese Roman Catholic churches, more than 90 of them, will be open Sunday.
