
In an early morning announcement, Southwest Airlines has posted a $915 Million loss for the second quarter while warning that travel demand will remain weak until there's a Coronavirus vaccine or treatment.
From year-over-year, Q2 revenues dropped more than 82% to just over a billion dollars. However, that's still higher than analysts were expecting.
Travel demand began recovering in the Spring, but that came to sharp halt with spikes in Coronavirus cases on top of travel restrictions in New York.
