Southwest Joins List Of Airlines Requiring Passengers Wear Masks

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Southwest Airline joins the list of airlines that will be requiring passengers to wear face masks while traveling aboard their aircraft.

The new mask policy starts May 11th, according to reports.  

If a traveler forgets to bring a mask, Southwest will reportedly provide one.

On Friday, Fort Worth-based American Airlines announced they will soon require all passengers to wear a mask when they travel as well.

The pilots and flight attendants have been asking for this rule for weeks, and now it's being made policy.

As of May 11th, American Ailrine makes coverings over the mouth and nose mandatory for all passengers as soon as they come aboard.
