
As they work to earn college credit, millions of students are preparing to take the Advanced Placement tests next month. But this AP testing process will be unlike any in the past.
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic that has closed schools across America, the College Board is preparing students to take the all-important exams at home.
One important change, the traditional face-to-face AP exams will be replaced by shorter, online versions that can be taken in 45 minutes at home on the student's device of choice, including smartphones, tablets and computers.
Students without access to the internet or a device can make arrangements with the College Board.
KRLD's Chris Sommer talked with Lauri Benton from the College Board about the revised testing process, preparation for the exams and digital security measures that will be in place.
