GREENVILLE (1080 KRLD) - Classes resume today at Texas A&M Commerce less than a week after the deadly shooting in Greenville.

Two people died while four A&M students were among the wounded.

Classes have been canceled since the murders but today the doors re-open. However, University President Mark Rudin says there will be no penalty for missing class for students who need more time.

Campus security will be stepped up and so will counseling opportunities.

Meanwhile, the man arrested in the shootings remains locked up today.
