HOUSTON (1080 KRLD) - Dr. Rajani Katta is a dermatologist and professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Katta says, "What I'm starting to see is definite redness, dryness, flaking in some of my patients.
In other people, we've had reports of acne getting worse." Dr. Katta says if you're prone to acne then use a mask with cotton.
Also, she recommends using non-comedogenic products so that they don't clog your pores.
If you have dry skin, Dr. Katta recommends that you use a moisturizer. Dr. Katta also suggests that you alternate or wash your mask in hot water.
Finally, Dr. Katta recommends avoiding scented detergent or dryer sheets.
