Texas Lottery Commission Executive Director Gary Grief said Tuesday night's winner, who is still unidentified, will receive the largest single payout in the state's history. "We've had a couple of winners in the past who have shared smaller shares of a larger jackpot, but never a single winner of this much money," Grief said.
The Cedar Park winner selected the Cash Value Option on their Quick Pick ticket and will receive a one-time payment of $157,091,592 before taxes. They have 180 days to claim their winnings.
The lucky ticket was sold at Lakeline Express Mart in Cedar Park. Grief said the retailer has qualified for a $1 million bonus.
