AZLE (1080 KRLD) - Tarrant County sheriff's deputies found three people dead inside a home just south of Azle Monday afternoon.
They say a relative had called 911 because they had not heard from anyone since Sunday.
Deputies went to the house on Red Oak Circle, just south of Eagle Mountain Lake, just before 5:00 p.m. and found two men and one woman dead inside. They say each person had been shot once.
"We're looking at all aspects of this. Right now, we don't believe there are any suspects we need to be concerned with," says the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department's David McClelland. "We also don't believe there's any threat to the neighborhood or the community."
McClelland says Texas Rangers are helping with the investigation.
While there is no ongoing threat, McClelland says detectives are still piecing together events leading up the shooting.
Monday evening, he could not say whether any of the gunshot wounds was self-inflicted or if the case was a double murder-suicide.
