ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - Police in Arlington have made two arrests for last week's shooting of a Bowie High School football standout.

Arlington Police believe the two men who were behind the shooting of 17-year old Anthony Strather were gang members who had started a fight with one of Strather's friends.

According to an arrest affidavit, both 18-year-old Alexander Onyeador and 18-year-old Keon Flynn had a beef with the friend and began piling on.

Officer Michael Chitty says Strather was only trying to help.

The affidavit says police have both cell phone and home surveillance video of the shooting.
