FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Fort Worth's new Dickies Arena isn't even open yet but it has already landed a high-profile athletics event.
The US Gymnastics Association will hold the 2020 US Gymnastics Championships at the arena next June.
Yesterday's announcement was attended by Allen-raised Olympic Gold Medalist Carly Patterson who joked she might think of coming out of retirement for the event.
This will be the first gymnastics championship held in Fort Worth and only the fourth to be held in Texas.
