While many parts of Texas may be approaching the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, it's a different story in Dallas-Fort Worth.

New modeling released this week by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin indicates there is a very small likelihood North Texas will reach the downside of the COVID-19 curve in the near future.

Dr. Kelly Gaither is the director of health analytics at UT-Austin's Texas Advanced Computing Center.  She says the latest information is alarming, and should serve as a wakeup call for Texans, especially those living in the most-populated areas of the state, including DFW.
