DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police have arrested a suspect in a road-rage incident that was captured on video. 32-year-old Jose Monsivais is facing a charge of criminal mischief.
Police say Monsivais is the driver who was seen getting out of a Chevy HHR on the LBJ Freeway near Walnut Hill on May 10th and smashing the windshield of a Subaru with a bat. They say Monsivais and the other driver had gotten into a dispute in slow-moving traffic as the other driver was trying to merge.
Video shows the two vehicles scraping fenders, then getting into a deliberate collision before the driver in the Chevy exits his vehicle and begins damaging the Subaru. The driver of the Chevy left the scene and the driver of the Subaru called police.
