Tarrant County Reports 2 More Deaths, 40 New Cases Of COVID-19

TARRANT COUNTY (1080 KRLD)- The Tarrant County Health department is reporting two more people have died, 40 more people have tested positive for the Coronavirus. 

The latest victims were a Fort Worth man in his 60s and a Benbrook man in his 80s.  A total number of 77 people in the county with COVID-19  have died.   

The county is also reporting 40 more new cases today, bringing the total in the county to 2,624.  651 people have recovered. 

“Our condolences go out to the families for their loss,” said Tarrant County Public Health Director Vinny Taneja. He reminded residents to continue to stay home as much as possible, and follow the Public Health guidelines.
