HOUSTON (1080 KRLD) - Authorities in Harris County have now released a composite sketch of the man suspected of shooting seven-year-old Jazmine Barnes in the head Sunday morning.

They have also released a very short video of the man's red pickup.

Barnes was riding in a car with her three sisters and mother when the mother says they were targeted.  LaPorsha Washington says the driver first pulled up alongside the passenger side of her car, looked in and then changed lanes and fired into the passenger side, hitting Jazmine who was sitting behind her.   She and her daughters are black, the shooter is white.  "We didn't do anything to this man. It was something in his mind that he had planned on doing beforehand.  I believe this was a hate crime."  She also says the shooter "finished his clip."

Washington says one of her daughters, a 13-year-old, has yet to shed a tear.  "It scares me, because I don't know what's going on in her head."  And for her youngest, a six year old,  "she says mama, I talked to Jazmine.  I'm like you did? What she say.  She says she loves you."

Washington's 15 year old daughter Alxis says the shooter looked "sick."  LaPorsha says he was "pale in the face with sunken cheekbones, and the look in his eyes wasn't normal."

Jazmine's father Christopher Cevilla says "Justice will prevail and I'm going to be leading the charge.  I won't stop and I won't quit. I don't care how long it takes.  He's going to slip up somewhere and he's going down."  LaPorsha added "This will not be a cold case."

The reward for information leading to the arrest of the killer is up to $100,000.
