Service Dog Of Late President Bush Honors His Owner

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Sully the service dog is honoring the late President George H.W. Bush on this Memorial Day.

The loyal service dog who melted hearts around the world by sleeping next to President Bush's flag draped casket is getting a lot of attention on his own instagram account. he's next to the World War II memorial that was dedicated to George H.W. bush's son, George W. Bush.

The post includes a quote from the late president, that says in part, "Always thinking of my best friend and the bravest military in the world who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our country for our freedoms."

Sully is now working at the Walter Reed Military Medical center helping others.
