DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Police have a suspect in custody this morning after a shooting involving a Baylor Hospital security officer.
Dallas Police say Baylor security officers responded to a call of a victim slumped over inside a car on Malcolm X Blvd and Junius Street around 7:30 Friday morning.
As the officers approached the driver put the car in reverse hitting one of the security officers, then one of the officers fired his weapon at the suspects car.
A short time later Dallas police found the car at a nearby apartment complex, but the suspect was not inside.
Witnesses were able to give police a good description of the suspect who was picked up a short time later.
