DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The U.S. Postal Service says some locations will keep longer hours Monday for people who waited to file their taxes.
The Dallas Main Post Office at 401 Tom Landry Highway, Dallas, TX 75260 will let people drop off taxes and extensions and buy stamps until midnight tonight.
"If we receive your tax mail by midnight, you can rest assured your mail will receive the April 15 postmark," Larry Wagener, Senior Plant Manager for the Dallas District wrote in a statement.
USPS is warning people to use correct postage. First class mail starts at 55 cents for the first ounce and 15 cents for each additional ounce.
While the Dallas Main Post Office and DFW Airport location will postmark mail until midnight, USPS is also warning customers to check the last collection time at their post office before dropping off forms.
