FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - The so-called “Affluenza mom” is back in jail — again.
Tonya Couch was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Friday after a positive urinalysis.
Couch is awaiting trial on hindering apprehension and money laundering charges in connection with fleeing to Mexico with her son Ethan in late 2015.
Couch was free on bond with a series of conditions, including no alcohol or drugs of any kind.
Since being extradited back to the U.S., Couch has been in and out of jail several times for violating the conditions of her bond — having been freed most recently last October.
Couch is currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail without bond.
Late last year, Couch’s attorneys asked the court for a change of venue for her trial.
To date, Judge Wayne Salvant has yet to issue his ruling on that motion.
